As many as 350 joint personnel joined local residents to remove mud and waste in the Gerebek Lumpur action, on Sunday (12/5). It focused on the Boulevard Utara Connecting Channel (Phb), Jalan Boulevard Utara, RW 12, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Jakarta Regional Mitigation Disaster Agency (BPBD) Acting Head, Sabdo Kurnianto added, to anticipate disaster, early warning and mitigation had been carried out for residents, especially in North Jakarta which experienced tidal flooding.

"We're also contact across sectors for evacuation purposes, providing the needs of refugees to sucking water for handling flooding," he stated.
